Team Leader Inequalities Team, Health Promotion Devon and Freelance Trainer on Cultural Capability and Health. My career to date has been driven by a passion for challenging inequalities. I have significant experience in the field of anti racism, supporting survivors of racist abuse with case work and advocacy services.
I then moved into mental health and community development with minority ethnic communities which has developed into work with a wide range of people experiencing disadvantage and health inequalities. I am an experienced trainer, specialising in diversity and cultural capability. I train medical students and a range of professionals in the statutory and voluntary sector. I also deliver freelance sessions for the University of Plymouth Clinical Psychology students and support practice based learning around working cross culturally.
I have line management experience and I am a competent public health practitioner, recently studying Public Health at a Post Grad level at UWE.

An experienced food and agriculture/ economic growth Consultant and Project Manager having worked on pro-poor market approaches, conducted end-to-end supply chain risk mapping and implemented ethical, environmental and labour standards for private sector brands, NGOs and governments, I understand the complexities of stakeholder alignment on global supply chain and resource scarcity challenges. Previously I worked with TEACH Africa, Poltimore House Trust and The British Council.

Previously (in 2009) worked in Ethiopia on various projects with the AIDS Resource Centre located in Addis Ababa .
I furthered my training by learning participatory photography methodologies, with the London based charity Photovoice and developed his own self-funded projects . In 2013 I created and launched Meridian Raw.
