Photography for change is a new photography project that focuses on gratitude, being thankful & helping to bring about positive change in people's lives.
This project will be for people in & around Exeter who have lived experience of mental health problems, social isolation & other social challenges.
We will be running four separate courses, each lasting 10-weeks in Exeter and each week will have a workshop session comprising of 3 hours.
Each course will be made up of 15-25 participants, (we limit the numbers to allow for enough attention per individual and a manageable site location.)
You will be working in a safe environment within small group and have the same facilitator throughout.
After all the courses have finished we will put on an exhibition, which will include individuals work from each of the four programmes. We take input from participants and what work to display and ask for their help with curating.
-The first programme took place on Tuesdays from September 25th to 4th December 2018 at the Palace Gate Centre.
-The second will be held on Thursdays,24th January to March 28th 2019 at the St Davids Community Centre.
