Who We Are
Founder & CEO
Clive is a social entrepreneur and photographer who has been published a number of times in The Guardian, The Times and other publications. He was a regular contributor to the news wire Demotix/Corbis and was the social media lead for TEDxExeter from 2012 - 2018
Previously (in 2009) worked in Ethiopia on various projects with the AIDS Resource Centre located in Addis Ababa .
Clive furthered my training by learning participatory photography methodologies, with the London based charity Photovoice and developed his own self-funded projects . In 2013 I created and launched Meridian Raw CIC.
My current role as Network and Relationship Manager for a health and wellbeing service is to develop and maintain strategic partnerships across Devon, to develop pathways into the service and to manage the engagement strategy and team. The overall aim of the service is to improve the health and wellbeing of the population of Devon and to reduce inequalities in health.
Much of my career to date has been driven by my passion for challenging inequalities. I have significant experience in the field of anti-racism, supporting survivors of racial abuse with case work and advocacy services and of working with black and minority ethnic communities.
I also worked in the NHS managing the community development team to facilitate health projects with communities affected by health inequalities and on the Delivering Racial Equality in mental health services programme.
Matt Round became a director of Meridian Raw CIC in November 2018. Matt is a freelance photographer with his own commercial practice called Matt Round Photography.
He has several years’ experience in most facets of the photography industry, from Press & PR, through to weddings and documentary photography. He has a large portfolio of clients including internationally acclaimed events and businesses.
