Photography for Change is a one-year participatory photography project in Exeter that will explore the themes of personal change, changes in your community and future change.
This project is aimed at people in & around Exeter who have lived experience of mental health problems, social isolation & other social challenges, however we like to hear from anyone who interested.
We will be running four separate programmes, each lasting 10-weeks in Exeter and each week will have a workshop session comprising of 3 hours and each programme is open for up to 30 participants.
Each free 10-week photography programme enables participants to create their own photo-story or photographic theme and build a portfolio of images. In addition, all participants have the opportunity to take part in the following activities:
You will be working in a safe environment within small group and have the same facilitator throughout.
After all the courses have finished we will put on an exhibition, which will include individuals work from each of the four programmes. We take input from participants and what work to display and ask for their help with curating.
